Some of the most popular songs from Trio Libels are Gadisku, Aku Suka Kamu, and Jangan Pergi. Most of them used to become the most trending song on the radio. Up until now, the 90s generation still loves to sing songs wherever they are.

2. M.E

M.E becomes one of the most popular Indonesian boy bands in the 90s. The group consist of five members, Denny Saba, Didan Fitrasakti, Iravan Mirza, Ferry Iskandar, and Widi. The group was formed in 1991 and brought pop music.

M.E stands for Embung Eleh, which comes from the Bandung traditional language of Sundanese. In 1991, the group sang the song for the music soundtrack of Si Doel Anak Sekolahan.

They became popular since then and the song of Inikah Cinta becomes the most popular song up until now. Sometimes people even sang it with some local music instrument such as using traditional Sundanese music instruments.

3. Neo

Neo becomes one of the most popular Indonesian boy bands in the 90s. The group brings hip hop and R&B music, which makes Indonesian music has a new color in the music industry. They sang fresh songs with unique styles of music in Indonesia that make the youth generation love them so much.

Neo consists of five members, Udet, Aldy, Dery, Doniel, and Abe. Most of them have unique voices that make most Indonesian girls cry for them. The group was recorded their song under Musica Studio and has six albums until around 2009.

4. Cool Colors

Cool Colors becomes one of the most popular Indonesia boy bands in Indonesia in the 90s. They are consist of five members, Ari Sihasale, Ari Wibowo, Surya Saputra, Teuku Ryan, and Johandi Jahja.

Cool Colors become so popular among girls because of their handsome appearance. Even so, they have unique voices that sound smoothly while they sang together. Two of their popular song is Satu Yang Pasti and Tataplah.

Cool Colors was existed between 1996 up to 2001. Most of them became busier with acting carriers and many more up until now.

5. Coboy

Coboy becomes one of the most popular Indonesian boy bands in the 90s. The group was established around 1991 in Jakarta. They brought pop music, rock, R&B, and pop dance.

Coboy consists of four members Gilbert Patiruhu, Ponco Buwono, Ali Mustafa, and Fery Pasalli. Their music looks similar to Trio Libels mixed with ME and Cool Colors. That makes their music becomes unique that Indonesian people love the most.

Coboy was even made a new debut in Coboy reunite around 2019. They came with only two members by Gilbert Patiruhu and Fery Pasalli.

6. P Project

P Project becomes one of the most popular Indonesia boybands around the 90s. Nowadays the group becomes popular with Project Pop, which change its name after regeneration in the last 1994.

Project Pop consist of seven members, Yossi, Udjo, Tika Panggabean, Gugum, Hilman, Oon, and Odie. Their music becomes so popular with a cheerful love song mix with a comedy theme. The group even become one of the most popular of Indonesia’s most well-known male singers.

Most Project Pop songs commonly become trending on the radio and some music charts in Indonesian TV. The comedy theme makes them so popular and makes their fans understand that break-up song is always has a happy side on the other side.

7. FBI

FBI becomes one of the most popular boy bands in Indonesia in the 90s. The group consists of three members, Indra Bekti, Roy Jordy, and Arya Weda. They started their debut in around the last 90s in early 2000.

FBI stands for Fajar Bintang Indonesia, which brings pop music under the Musica Studio label. The song of Khatulistiwa became the most popular song originally sung by Chrisye.

8. T-Five

T-Five becomes one of the most popular Indonesia boybands around the 90s. The group brings hip hop and R&B songs that look similar to ME. Most of their song is about love, which becomes so popular in the youth generation.
