Indonesia is one of the most populous countries in the world. One of the causes is the vast territory of Indonesia. Compared to other countries in the vicinity, Indonesia is a country famous for its vast territory. The population growth of a region is actually only affected by 3 things. That is birth, death, and migration.

In developed countries, birth rates tend to be low. This is because the orientation of develop country society is no longer take care of family, but on the success of their career. In addition, developed countries like Japan, have very strict rules about migration. Not everyone can enter Japan and become a resident of Japan.

This of course does not apply in Indonesia. Indonesia is in a state opposite to Japan. Birth rate in Indonesia is greater than the mortality rate. Everyone is free in and out of Indonesia, and can even become an unconditional Indonesian citizen.

Here are 13 causes of over population in Indonesia :

Early Marriage

Married in young age is still a tradition in Indonesia. Indonesians get married on average at the age of 20-25 years for women. While men are generally married at the age of 20-30 years. Marriage couples aged over 30 years are even considered an embarrassing thing. Not married at the age of 20-30 years in Indonesia is an unnatural thing. There will be scorn if you can not get married at that age.

2. Culture

Cultural issues are closely related to marriage at a young age. In certain areas, especially in small towns and inland, they even married off their children after graduating from high school. Getting a mate at a young age is considered a good and profitable thing. There are some areas in Indonesia that believe that the more children, the more fortune that comes. Therefore, Indonesians will be happy if they have many children.

3. Lack of Education

The majority of Indonesian people live by relying on natural wealth, the inheritance of their ancestors. For example being a farmer, breeder, and other natural products. Indonesians think that education is not too important to live. Can build a family and can eat everyday is enough. Most Indonesians do not understand that education is important for the future. So that should youth enter college, even told to get married.

4. Lack of Knowledge

Lack of knowledge is one reason why many births in Indonesia. The lack of knowledge for Indonesian youth can cause birth rates to increase. Why? Youth who tend to not want to learn the outside world, will only obey the word of her parents. One of them is by getting married young. Cultures that are given at early age will long fade if the young Indonesians lack knowledge.

For some people’s beliefs, many children are a good thing. It is believed that women who have many children are fertile women. In Islam, some people assume that the use of contraception is prohibited in religion.

When a teenager graduates from school or university and has not got a job, the solution is to get married first. This concept is shared by most Indonesians. So that the birth of a child can no longer be avoided. Indonesia is a developing country that has many inhabitants at a young age. A large number of unemployed people, leading to high population growth because youth choose to marry first.

7. Taboo of Sex Education

Early sex education is a must nowadays. But it does not happen in Indonesia. Children do not get sex education properly because Indonesians think talking about sex at an early age is a shame. Many Indonesian teenagers who have unprotected sex without any safeguard so that there was a pregnancy.

8. Lack of Sosialization

This reason is still related to the culture, mindset, and orientation of Indonesia. That young marriage is a good thing. Therefore, many Indonesian teenagers have no orientation to their career. Especially for young women. Getting a good and rich husband may be more fun than working as a career woman.

11. Not Using Contraception

This is the obvious reason for excess population in Indonesia. Like the previous reviews, not using contraception can be due to trust and religion. It could also be poverty. If not using contraception, it is better for a family to manage pregnancy by calculating the fertile period of women.

Did you know, according to people from abroad, visiting Indonesia is easy. Provided there is a dollar, all can be resolved in Indonesia. Includes migration issues.
