Saraswati temple is dedicated to the goddess Saraswati as one of the Hinduism deities. Saraswati is known as the god of knowledge and art so the temple represents a unique carvings pattern of art along the walls of the temple.

Saraswati temple is well built like an open space that has a large park surrounded by a lotus pool in front of the main temple.

2. Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal

Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal is one of the most popular temples in Ubud, specifically around Monkey Forest Ubud. The temple becomes one of the temples in around southwest of Monkey Forest Ubud.

Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal is known to be built to worship the god of Shiva. The temple consists of a Bale that is used to hold the based ceremony of cremation. There is also a twin statue of the Anak Vampir or vampire child that hugs each other tightly.

Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal is a kind of funeral temple that become the most popular temples in Bali that exist in Ubud. There is another one that looks similar to this temple which is located not far from the temple called the Pura Prajapati.

3. Pura Prajapati

Pura Prajapati is one of the most popular temples in Ubud that located not far from the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal. It is a kind of funeral temple that used to hold some funeral ceremonies for most Hinduism in Ubud.

Lately, the Pura Prajapati is renovated because one was destroyed by a giant tree around 2017 during a rainy season. Nowadays the temple looks stunning with everything new around there.

4. Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest

Ubud sacred monkey forest is one of the most famous temples in Ubud located around the Ubud holy monkey forest sanctuary. The temple is located in the middle of the forest that is full of grey long-tailed macaques the endemic species there.

Puri Saren Agung is one of the most popular temples in Ubud located around the Jalan Raya Ubud Km 8. The temple also called the royal Ubud palace was used to become a little palace for the kingdom family of Hinduism in Bali to do their prayer.

6. Pura Padang Kerta

Pura Padang Kerta is a famous temple that most Balinese believe has protection from god over the top of the temple. The rooftop of the temple is made of coconut leaf fibers as a part of the traditional houses of Bali, which Balinese believe can protect them from any evil spirit.

7. Pura Gunung Lebah

Pura Gunung Lebah is one of the most popular temples in Ubud that located around the Jalan Raya Ubud No 23 at Sayan village. The temple is believed by most Balinese as the pioneer place of the existence of Ubud itself.

Pura Gunung Lebah is surrounded by the nature of the bamboo tree and other types of trees as well. The environment around the temple has the most silent yet relaxing place of hills. That makes this temple a great place to do prayer and meditation.

8. Pura Puseh Ubud

Pura Puseh Ubud is one of the most popular temples in Ubud located around Suweta Street No. 4. The temple is known renovated in 1992 due to prevent extinction.

Pura Puseh Ubud is made from the carving of stones that beautifully form as many forms such as the Bhoma head and great elephant. The gate is also full of stone carve that made it so beautiful to look at.
