Achmad Noeman also becomes one of the founders of IAI or the Indonesian Architect Association. His famous mosque works include the Amir Hamzah Mosque in Ismail Marzuki park, the At-Tin mosque, the Islamic Center mosque in Jakarta, and the Salman mosque in ITB, Bandung.

Achmad Noeman doesn’t only doing his works of mosques in Indonesia but also reached foreign countries. 2. Soejoedi Wirjoatmodjo

Soejoedi Wirjoatmodjo is an Indonesian architect that was born in Surakarta, 27 December 1928. By the time of 1964, he was asked by the first Indonesian president, Soekarno, to be in charge of some national project in Indonesia. Since then, he was doing good in architect and has so many building by his works.

Soejoedi Wirjoatmodjo so popular behind the greatness of the DPR/MPR building in Senayan, Jakarta. Other of his popular works such as the ASEAN Secretariat building in Jakarta, French Embassy at Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia’s Embassy at Kuala Lumpur, and many more.

3. Frederich Silaban

Frederich Silaban is an Indonesian architect that was born in North Sumatra, on 16 December 1912. Together with Achmad Noeman and another Indonesian architect, he found the IAI in 1959. The organization becomes the biggest architect community in Indonesia that still exists until now.

Frederich Silaban is so popular with his works in Indonesia, such as Monas or the Indonesian national monument, the Istiqlal mosque as the biggest mosque in Indonesia, Bung Karno stadium, BNI 1946, the Khatulistiwa monument, and many more.

4. Ahmad Djuhara

Ahmad Djuhara is an Indonesian architect who was born in Jakarta, 1966.  He becomes the head of IAI between the period of 2015 – 2018. His works have so much appreciation from the public when he revitalized the Chung Hwa drugstore. The place becomes one of the most Instagram and contemporary places in Jakarta.

In the periods between 2000 – 2001, Ahmad Djuhara builds the Steel House at the Sugiarto’s project that so popular at that time. Not only these houses, but he has also done his best works on the Wisnu’s house which represents the tradition of the house of stilts over modernity.
