Best Time to Visit Bali along the Year

Since a very long time ago, Bali island becomes one of the most popular tourism visits. The island has so many things that you need the most whether for entertainment, shopping, sports and even praying.

The location of Bali island is strategically easy to reach from anywhere you come from. There are so many transportations to get there using a plane, bus, or even ship boat from the nearest island.

January

January may not be the best time to visit Bali since the island will cover with rain most of the days. January becomes the peak of the wet season in Indonesia so that Bali has almost rain hard daily.

As the wet seasons come through the island, there will not be much you can do in Balu during January. Some outdoor activities will be stopped during the rain considering for safe things.

But, if you insist on visiting Bali in January, you can do at least take a walk around the city, villages, or even the island with less tourist visit vibe. You can do much time to enjoy the island so much without bothered by tourism crowded.

February

In February, Bali still has rainy days but not as much as January. That makes so many tickets giving some low rate promotion so you can take this chance. During this month, commonly you have a less tourism crowded vibe because rain still comes to the island.

Even so, you still can enjoy Bali during February with fewer outdoor activities. Some water activities such as surfing, water tube, or rafting come in a bit limited but still available to do. Visit some waterfalls this time becomes the best time to get the water flowing down the river beautifully.

March

March becomes the holiest time in Bali since most Balinese celebrated Nyepi days for Hinduism in Bali. During Nyepi days, the island will shut down the light and most of the activities there. It becomes pretty quiet following the Nyepi days coming in most of four up to seven days.

If you visiting Bali in March, you better check the date when the Nyepi days come. Some activities still open before the holiest day comes through the island. You can visit the Uluwatu temple or Monkey temple as the most popular temple in Bali.

April

April becomes a bit hot in Bali since the temperature rising significantly towards the dry season comes. The city starting to busy since tourist visits start to come higher this time.

Some people say that April becomes the hottest time to visit Bali so you need to prepare so many things. Bring some water bottle so you keep hydrated during your vacation.

May

May becomes lesser hot than April which makes people love to come to Bali this month. The weather comes a bit windy but still great to get a great wave in the ocean if you love to surf.

If you love paragliding, May becomes the great month to have that extreme sport in Bali which the sky comes clearer than you think. Choosing to climb to the mountain is a good choice too, but climbing the rock may not a good choice since the weather still a bit hot on your skin.

June

June becomes one of the most crowded time to visit since this month the holiday seasons start. It is may not as crowded as July or August, but most of the city starts a bit crowded with tourists.

During June, Bali seems to start to busy with tourism which the weather comes in a great condition. You can do as many activities that available on some beaches to surf or climb the mountain without bothering the weather.

July

July becomes the highest time for tourism visits since the holiday peak comes. This month becomes the most crowded of tourism visit which comes from domestic and foreign tourist.

In July, some of the beaches will fully be crowded with people and so does most souvenirs market. You need to be careful while visit during this month because Bali still has some scammers that may try to trick you.

August

August in Bali still having great weather with a blue sky and clean water at the beach. Diving and snorkeling have become some of the most popular sport to try. At the start of August, the island is still a bit crowded with tourist visits, but at the end of the month, it becomes lesser of tourists.

During August, you can enjoy some of the festivals while Balinese celebrated independence day on August 17.

September to October

September to October is pretty great to visit Bali since the weather is consistently nice for humans. You can do surf as well or even look around for some outdoor activities in Ubud for the beautiful terrace field. Moreover, the tourism visit starts to decrease so it is perfect to enjoy Bali such as learning how to have the etiquette while visiting a temple in Bali.

November to December

November to December becomes starts to rain since the wet seasons come through the island. It becomes persistently hard over the end of December towards January. Even so, you still can enjoy Bali during Christmas and new year’s eve or even some arts festivals in November such as the Balinese traditional music instrument show.
