1. Raden Wijaya
Raden Wijaya is the first great ruler of the Majapahit kingdom known as the founder of the Majapahit kingdom. He ruled the kingdom between 1293 – 1309 and was known as the wiser and braver king along with the Majapahit dynasty.
Raden Wijaya get the crown to lead the Majapahit kingdom after won defeated the Jayakatwang. The story of Raden Wijaya is found in so many inscriptions, such as Negarakertagama, that prove his existence to lead the Majapahit kingdom.
Raden Wijaya was passed away in around 1309 and buried in a Buddhist temple in Indonesia specifically at the Harihara temple in the Blitar region of East Java. Later, his first son, Jayanagara continued his throne to lead the kingdom of the ancient Buddhist kingdom in Indonesia.
2. Jayanagara
Jayanagara is one of the great rulers of the Majapahit kingdom from the year 1309 up to 1328. He is the first heir of the Majapahit kingdom and led the throne after his father died in around 1309 as the second king of the Buddhist kingdom in Indonesia.
Jayanagara was born around 1924, which makes him popular as the youngest king to lead the throne for the first time. Based on the Negarakertagama inscriptions, the throne was represented by Lembu Sora until he reach his age.
Based on the Pararaton book, there was some rebellion during Jayanegara’s leadership. The biggest rebellion is triggered by Ranggalawe, Lembu Sora, Nambi, and Kuti. Those rebellions were struggle a lot to take over the throne from Jayanagara but failed.
3. Tribhuwana Wijayatunggadewi
Tribhuwana Wijayatunggadewi is one of the great rulers of the Majapahit kingdom between 1328 – 1351. She continue on the throne after her mother Gayatri decided to be a Buddhist nun. As the sister of Jayanagara, after he fell the throne fall to Gayatri.
Later, based on Pararaton’s book, Gayatri gave up the throne and decided to give the crown to her daughter, Tribhuwana Wiajayatunggadewi. She is popular with the greatest woman ruler of the ancient kingdom in Indonesia at that time to lead the government and conquered the nation with her loyal governor, Gadjah Mada.
4. Hayam Wuruk
Hayam Wuruk is one of the great rulers of the Majapahit kingdom that led the kingdom between 1351 and 1389. Once her mother died, he continue the throne taking after her mother’s reign, Tribhuwana Wijayatunggadewi.
Hayam Wuruk is one of the most popular great rulers of the ancient kingdom of Indonesia. He works together with Gadjah Mada that popular with great strategy and becomes the most loyal governor since her mother leads the throne.

5. Wikramawardhana
Wikramawardhana is one of the great rulers of the Majapahit kingdom that lead the kingdom between 1389-1428. He continue the throne after his father-in-law, Hayam Wuruk passed away in around 1389. Once he marries Hayam Wuruk’s first daughter, society already knows that he will be the next king on purpose.
Wikramawardhana has a short legacy to lead the throne. Based on some inscriptions, there are so many rebellions during his legacy. One of the most popular rebellions in the Paregreg war that makes him fall from the throne.
6. Suhita
Suhita is one of the great rulers of the Majapahit kingdom that led the kingdom between 1428 and 1447. She continues on the throne after her father, Wikramawardhana was passed away. She leads the throne together with her husband, Ratnapangkaja.
During the Suhita legacy, the Majapahit kingdom slowly fell once the Islamic kingdom of Melaka rebelled everywhere to take over the kingdom. Both Suhita and her husband were dead during the war in around 1447.
7. Kertawijaya
Kertawijaya is one of the great rulers of Majapahit that lead the kingdom between 1447-1451. He continue on the throne after his sister, Suhita passed away during the war. Based on some inscriptions, Kertawijaya is popular as the king Brawijaya I.
Kertawijaya brought up the family heirs of Brawijaya legacy that lead the king after he take the name of Brawijaya as Brawijaya II up to V. During his throne, based on Pararaton’s book, there are so many disasters that come by nature. The condition makes the king has a difficult time leading the throne.
8. Rajasawardhana
Rajasawardhana is one of the great rulers of the Majapahit kingdom that lead the throne between 1451-1453. He take over the throne once after Kertawijaya dead in around 1451.
There are not many proofs of the story of how Rajasawardhana take over the throne to lead the Majapahit kingdom. But, based on Pararaton’s book, he takes over the throne once after Kertawijaya dead as he becomes one of Kertawijaya’s heirs.
