Bali is the center of tourism in Indonesia. the development of the tourism there grows rapidly. It is not such a strange thing that Bali becomes more popular than Indonesia, as the country itself. The development of the city, nature, and some of the facilities was done massively. Not only that, Bali is also known with its delicious taste of culinary.   1. Babi Guling

Although not everyone cannot eat Babi Guling because it is not halal, this food is the main culinary destination for Balinese and local tourists. The brownish color of Babi Guling skin is really crunchy. Moreover, the meat is so tender and rich in spices.

Uniquely, Balinese genep spices and cassava leaf vegetables are added to the pork belly and rolled over coals. The Babi Guling menu is usually served with warm white rice with lawar, satay wrap, and a small bowl of jukut ares.

  1. Sate Lilit

Sate Lilit is different. When the meat in other satay  is stabbed, Sate Lilit is instead made by wrapped the meat around. Previously, the meat was finely chopped and mixed with Balinese spices. Then, wrap it around the stems of lemongrass or bamboo stalks. The meat will taste so soft and tasty. What’s more, on a satay cone that uses the stems of lemongrass leaves, you will smell a delicious scent.

In general, the meat ithat s used in Sate Lilit includes chicken, pork, or mackerel. However, it is the Sate Lilit made of mackerel fish that is the favorite in Bali.

  1. Lawar

Lawar is a mixture of vegetables and minced meat which is specially made using Balinese spices. Generally Lawar is processed using a mixture of pork, but it turns out that Muscovy duck is also an alternative meat that is favored by the Balinese people.

Then the meat is wrapped in banana leaves and baked using husk fire embers which take up to 24 hours, so that it can produce an authentic savory, soft and spicy flavor. In addition, Betutu does not always use chicken meat.

You will not feel full by only eating a pack of Nasi Jinggo.
