10 Traditional Dances In West Java

1. Mask Dancing

4. Ketuk Tilu or Tapu Dancing

Dance Tapu is a traditional dance of West Java especially Priyangan, Bogor, and Purwakarta.

The dance performances Ketuk Tilu consists of female dancers commonly called ronggeng and nayaga as musical accompaniment.

Tapu tilu performances are usually done in open area both inside and outside the room, ronggeng usually will dance around a light legged (Sunda = torch).

9. Sintren Dancing

Sintren dance is a traditional dance of Java community, especially Cirebon West Java.
