Independence Day celebration of the Republic of Indonesia is celebrated on 17th August 2016 and commemorated to remember the day Indonesia become a self-ruling country away from colonialism. This anniversary made the month of August more special for all Indonesians. 1. Indonesian Flag Raises Across the Archipelago

In paragraph four of the decree it says “The flag of the State shall be flown at every anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day on August 17 by citizens who control the right to use the house, building or office, educational unit, public transportation and private transportation throughout the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and Representative offices of the Republic of Indonesia abroad. ”

2. A Show of  Tradition from Each Region
